LoneStar Handgun

This class will focus on the skills necessary to safely handle, maintain, and operate a carbine. Students will learn the carbine platform , proper maintenance, troubleshooting, sighting in, and common accessories. Students will participate in drills specifically designed to build on marksmanship, speed, and introduction to shooting on the move under the guidance of a qualified instructor.

Pre-requisite:

General knowledge of weapon system

Equipment Required:

5.56 / 223 or Pistol Caliber Carbine (PCC) Semi- Auto Magazine Fed Rifle

300 rounds of ammunition

Belt with ammo pouch and two magazines

Gloves (optional)

Kneepads (optional)

Comfortable shoes (boots or athletic shoes, NO open toes)

Long sleeve shirt

Baseball hat

Mounted optic or iron sights

Eye and ear protection

Gun cleaning kit
