LoneStar Handgun

This challenging 4 hour class is designed to test your skills to the max. Students will perform shooting on the move tactics, target transitions, rifle to pistol transitions, reloading while moving, and unusual shooting positions among others. Students will also learn defensive shooting focusing on speed and accuracy under the guidance of qualified, highly experienced instructors.

Pre-requisites:

Advanced knowledge of weapon system.

Completion of Lone Star Handgun Carbine Level 2 class or similar level course. Contact us to speak to an instructor if you have any questions about this pre-requisite

Ability to clear malfunctions or stoppages

Involves cardio & physical movements such as the ability to assume unusual shooting positions (kneeling, prone, seating) at a fast pace

Equipment Required:

5.56 /223 Semi- Auto magazine fed rifle or Pistol Caliber Carbine (PCC) with three magazines

300 rounds of rifle ammunition

Semi-Auto Pistol, belt with proper firearm holster, ammo pouch, and three magazines (NO SERPA HOLSTERS Allowed)

150 rounds of pistol ammo

Gloves (optional)

Kneepads & shooting mat (optional but highly recommended)

Sling (properly installed)

Comfortable shoes (boots or athletic shoes, NO open toes)

Long sleeve shirt (check weather forecast and dress appropriately for range conditions)

Baseball hat

Mounted optic or iron sights

Eye and electronic ear protection

Gun cleaning kit

Please bring your own lunch, no refrigerator or microwave is available.

NOTES: This is an advanced level class. Instructors reserve the right to remove participants for safety violations or skill level.
