LoneStar Handgun

This two-stage Run - Gun event provides an opportunity to fine tune your shooting on the move skills. You will challenge two courses comprised of paper and steel targets planned around a monthly theme. This is not a sanctioned competition, rather an opportunity to test your skills, socialize with other shooters with similar skills and interests, while having fun in a safe environment.

Event requirements:

• All participants must be 18 or older and must show proficiency and safe handling of firearms
• Allowed calibers... Pistol up to 45 ACP, 5.56 /.223, 7.62x51/39, .308
• Bring minimum or 60 rounds of pistol and 40 rounds of rifle ammunition
• Semi-auto pistol / rifle with weapon mounted light and enough candela to illuminate targets at 50 yards.
• Semi-auto Pistol Caliber Carbine (PCC) are allowed
• Belt, holster (active or passive retention), slings are optional (No SERPA or Nylon holsters)
• Concealment holsters are allowed
• Participants must show up 15 minutes before reservation time for safety & course of fire briefing.

Safety:

• Safety is our #1 priority and will not be compromised.
• Participants must show safe handling of their weapon system and comply with RSO instructions
• Range Safety Officers (RSO's) will remove participants for safety violations or lack of compliance or proficiency that compromises safety on the courses of fire
• This is not a shooting class
